Watertown Engineering Corporation becomes a licensed manufacturer for Koppenberg’s complete line of patented columbarium niches.

Whitman, MA – Founded in 1957, Watertown Engineering Corporation, the largest supplier of burial vaults and lawn crypts throughout the Northeast, has formed a licensing agreement with Koppenberg Enterprises, Inc. of Monroe, Washington to manufacture, market, and install Koppenberg’s complete line of patented columbarium niches to end users in the Eastern United States.

According to Mark Donovan, President and CEO of Watertown Engineering: “This new relationship allows Koppenberg to broaden their manufacturing and sales base without the necessary overhead and startup costs usually associated with growth and expansion.

“Since we are already in the business of manufacturing burial vaults, lawn crypts, and custom columbarium’s” says Mark, “Koppenberg’s patented niches system adds an additional dimension to Watertown Engineering’s capabilities. It’s a great fit and adds real value to our core business structure. This agreement gives Watertown Engineering the ability to manufacture and market a superior pre-cast product that is structurally sound, versatile, and cost effective to transport to cities throughout the Eastern United States”.

Watertown Engineering will market the columbarium niches in 2 formats; a turnkey ready to use upon arrival system or units custom designed and manufactured to the customers plans and specifications. The patented columbarium niches are manufactured in modular configurations using reinforced concrete. Customers will have a choice of polished granite finishes. 

In addition to burial vaults, lawn crypts (both single and double depth), and columbarium niches; Watertown Engineering, offers complete design, engineering and construction services associated with the bulk installation of these products.
